Blog #9: Props

The characters in my film don’t have any “unusual” character traits that would need specific props. The scene will take place in Martin’s room. To show that it’s his room, most of the colors and decor in his room will be neutral colors. Martin will have comic book pages posted on his wall as well as some super hero posters to help convey his timid personality as geeks (stereo-typically) are thought to be more shy/the underdog. The chess board and chess pieces are props that will be directly interacted with by the characters. The way the actors interact with the pieces/play the game will reveal more about their personality (i.e Camille placing her pieces down without hesitating vs Martin being indecisive).
